I haven't yet reached my student cap this month, but the system keeps cancelling any requests I get. I have two students in class, one student cancelled a request and then when another sent one, the system cancelled it. I know that you're only allowed to accept 4 students within a 30 day period, so does that mean that you can potentially have 8 students within a 2 month period if your others haven't graduated yet?

I think that you're only allowed to accept one request a day, so if you get two requests on one day... the one you don't accept will be automatically cancelled.

Also keep in mind that the system will cancel the request if another mentor accepts the student. Some students request multiple classes at once.

I don't think it works like that. I could be wrong. But I believe that you can only request 4 students in a 30 day period no matter how many requests you got last 30 days. They system cancels when a mentor accepts the student's request or you have met your quota. So, those students likely submitted multiple requests and had a mentor get there before you did.

Me too! WHY?! Been happening to me for a long time now. I thought it was just me. I'm sorry it's happening to you too. I had 10 who had requested me and all were cancelled but two. OF course I hadn't exceeded my monthly "quota" or whatever because I hadn't yet even accepted ANY in that entire month. Shoot, four students? Is that true? Mine ALWAYS cancels after three at the very, very most!

You can only accept one a day so if you have 5 requests on the same day, and you accept the first person that asks you then the system automatically cancels the other 4. You can either contact each other person and tell them you will have an available opening on x day to try again or hope someone will request you again. I normally tell those who request me that I can only accept one at a time, but I'll be free on x date if they'd like to try again.

So wait...
Is it 4 within any 30 day period? Or is it a calendar month?
For Example: Say you have students: A , B, C, D, E, F, and So on.
Say I accept Students A, B, C, and in the middle of July, so let's give it the 15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th respectively.
Can I accept Student E on the first of August? Or can I accept Student E on the 14th of August, which would be 30 days after accepting student A?
If the Second Scenario is correct, can I accept Students F, G, and H on the following days after accepting Student E, such as the 15th, 16th, and 17th of August, one per day? (given a 30 day period spanning between months)
Or is the first scenario true?
Am I making sense?
