Just wondering - how do you feel when you have a product that is not so hot and you have to write a negative review?

I'm usually disappointed that the product was a bust, but a review is a review and I want to be honest. So far I've written four 1-star reviews, and ten 2-star reviews out of 42 total.

I try to find something positive about the product but most importantly is to be honest in your review. Not everything is going to be great for everyone.

I write my honest opinion but like to start it on a positive note about what it 'could' do for you and end on one as well.

I'm disappointed. I also dislike when it seems to be a downer to other members of the community but I strive to be honest.

i use my honest opinion, i would want to read the truth if it was worth buying or not

I actually find it easier to write a really negative or positive review than in between. It's important to be objective but also give your opinion...

I usually try to put a positive spin on it. For example, Rabbits can be tricky because people are not one size fits all. So if it doesn't work I try to explain why it doesn't work for me, because it could be that's exactly what someone else is looking for.

I try to highlight the positive aspect of the toy. Now if there are any negative points I also try to bring that up.

I treat it like any other review. I've only had to write a handful of truly negative reviews out of twenty something reviews. Honesty is paramount, so I never sugar coat anything. I do try to mention the positive aspects of the item no matter how much I don't like it overall.

I write the entire review objectively, just talking about the toy's features in as much detail as I can. Then I use the "Experience" section to detail my personal experience with the item. Just because I didn't like it, or it didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for someone else - so instead of saying "this was lame, didn't work, it's crappy" I try to be as detailed as possible about WHY it didn't work for me. I also try to describe who it MIGHT work for.

I had this problem earlier doing my most negative review so far since I have gotten more into detail. I included everything there was to know about the toy but felt like I was missing somethings in the end. I told my experience throughout my review though. Not every product is going to work for every person. A product I absolutely hate someone else may absolutely love.

It's not fun writing a negative review, but sometimes you have to. I think that by sharing what I thought of the product honestly will help someone make a more informed decision later on. They may order it and love it, but they know what my thoughts about the flaws were and hopefully that helps them.

I give all the details necessary about the toy, the uses for them, material, etc. and then give my own personal experience of the item. If it's high quality and just didn't work for me, I can't knock it 'cause it could be perfect for someone else!
