Where do you write your reviews?

Contributor: ksparkles16 ksparkles16
So, I'm curious. Do you start writing your reviews on the EF template right away? OR do you write in a word document like Microsoft word first then copy and paste?

Also, do you write your review all in one sitting or in pieces?

I did see someone post this question a few years ago, but I wanted to get some current answers

I used to write in the EF template first. Once I got to writing tons of reviews, I decided on a word document. I love to write it all then edit, copy and paste. I usually write most of it at one time, but sometimes pieces. I always take my pictures when I first get my goodies in the mail

Sometimes I do a Pages document, others I just do the template. Depends on my mood.

I write all in one sitting.

I often write them up with pen and paper first. I may be the only one that does that. Other times I just start with Eden's template. I don't think I have ever used a word program.

I suppose I should have been other as well. I initially write it all down with pen and paper and then I transfer it all directly to Eden.

Depends, most of the time I just write them on the template all at once. A few times I have done them bit by bit. I have had a few I did in Word first but I always copy and paste into a word processor. Pictures are taken when I get the product.

I write in Word and copy it over into the EF template when I'm done. It takes me a few days for sure, sometimes a week if I'm really mulling it over.

The word limit on Eden is my nemesis, so I need somewhere else to save it first, before I'm forced to start editing out great chunks of words just to make it fit.

I always write mine in the template because it triggers me to include information I would otherwise forget about.

I usually write the review in the EF template. I did my first few on Word, but then ran into word count limits and so this lets me know immediately while the writing is still fresh if I'm over my limit.

I write key side notes in Word or my notebook and then plug it into the template. I always write it all at once in the template, though when it is time for the review.

I keep a notebook (the kind with paper pages) for rough drafting my reviews and from there type it up into the template. I don't always write it all in one sitting either, I just don't get that much time sometimes.

Depends. Sometimes I'll write them in word first and sometimes I'll just write directly on the template. It's much easier to use word first though.

I make a few notes, like measurements or other things that I want to include, on a notepad in pencil or pen. 95% of the time, I write the review up directly into the review template. Normally, I write it all at once, but if I am having trouble with a review, I will start it, then come back to it another day.

I do mine on WordPad, and then copy/paste it over to EF. I also like to take the time to write mine in pieces, rather than all at once. That way I can go back and re-read it to myself to make sure that everything flows right.

I usually write them in the Word program. Some of the reviews get finished in one sitting but others don't. Depends on my motivation.

I always write it in the EF template. It usually takes me a little while to write it, broken up throughout the day (during nap times!) then I reread and submit at night time!
