I don't wanna show my face so :p
What are the benefits of showing your real face?
02/24/2013
I chose not to show my face here or on my blog... or really any site I have to do with sex... to protect my safety. I already work at an adult toy store locally and get a few creepy customers... I would hate to know what would happen if any of them found my stuff and recognized me!!!
02/25/2013
And to add, although I have my "name" as my handle here and on my other sites it is my alter ego. It is a play on my irl name but not close enough to be found
02/25/2013
I work in the public and I wouldn't show my face.
02/25/2013
I'm already worried that a company doing a background check will find me on this site so I don't show my face on it. (trying to get a job isn't easy)
02/25/2013
I show my face because it's me and I don't have any serious reasons not to.

I prefer not to show my face online (with the exception of a few choice people on my private FB page, which I rarely use.)
I work in a fairly conservative field, nursing. Working some fields and showing one's face on a sex toy site could compromise some of our careers. I'm not ashamed of what I do on Eden, but many of my patients... I don't know how they feel about things like this and it could negatively impact my career if a patient saw my face in a lot of places.
I think sometimes "comfy" websites give us a false sense of security. Anybody could come onto Eden and see our faces. I prefer to not be recognized as "that chick who reviews sex toys" in either my professional life, or at the PTA or in my community.
Just my issue I guess. But, when one has a career that requires one to be discreet with other peoples' information, it causes one to think about WHO you want to know who you are online.

I like my face XD I even use it as the pic for any articles I write.
02/26/2013
I show my face because no one I know would ever be on here... I live in a city of prudes. lol
02/26/2013
I don't show it for privacy reasons.
02/26/2013
as a general rule I don't show my face online (even facebook).
02/26/2013
I refuse to show my face on here as I believe that doing so could not only compromise peoples opinions of me, but also my future career.
02/26/2013
My face hasn't come up in my reviews! I most likely wouldn't show them because I want to go to med school and stuff. But for now, I only take pictures of the toys and not videos, so it doesn't really matter.

I show a part of my face. Yes, that is my face. Under all that photoshop.
I use that avatar because I think it's awesome. I also plan on showing may face in video reviews, but I will be wearing shades. Not because I don't want to show my face but because the shades go with my blog and I plan on embedding them there.
I know "the shades go with my blog" is an odd thing to say but trust me, they do.

I don't show my face because I also do adult videos. I'd rather not have someone stumble upon me and realize that that's me in the videos. I don't know why it matters at this point because my tattoos could just as easily be recognized.

After considering the pros and cons of revealing my true identity, I decided it' d be best to keep my identity a Mr. E.

I don't show my face because I prefer to be anonymous.
03/15/2013
I love being anonymous here. I don't give out my real name or ever show my face. I don't want the public or friends/family/old school friends to see me and know what I do.
03/15/2013
I don't show my face for the simple fact of my career I have my face on Facebook and whatnot but nothing pertaining to Eden goes on my personal Facebook. My little sister has an account setup just for Eden that myself,my wife and my sister have access to so that we are able to keep Eden off our main Facebooks.
03/15/2013
I don't show my face online, generally. And I wouldn't here because it could potentially impact my career (and be highly embarrassing if certain career related people were to see it!)
03/15/2013
Just because I don't want to, besides I like my cute little kitty avatar.
03/15/2013
never really though about it and not that worried about it, may change it at some point though idk

I don't show my face because I feel it would be hypocritical of me to forbid my teenage girls from using real pics of themselves as avatars but use one myself. As much as I might hate it there are too many sickos on the interwebs for me to chance meeting someone who thinks they "know" me or share some weird bond with me based on my activity on a website. Since this actually happened to me I figure an ounce of prevention...ya know!

So I use a stylized pic everywhere which to me is just as recognizable as a pic of myself.

My avatar isn't my face because lets face it, a cute little pink haired pony with freakishly huge eyes is sooo much more adorable than my own face, let alone anyone else's face! But when I start doing video reviews, and I plan to, I'm going to show my entire face. I dunno, I hate watching a video review where only half a persons face is shown. It's very jarring for me.

I'm comfortable showing my face because I'm already naked everywhere else on the internet, so why not here too?

Nobody needs to see my face.
