Video review block What do you do to break it?

I am kind of experiencing video review block. I started a really time intensive video review (no peeking, but it includes stop action animation) and I am stuck! I stare at the bits I have done, stare at my toy, then either leave the room (taking the toy with me) and hide in my bedroom or mess around on the forums or do a rather plain video review on something else.

I want to do this, but I may have bitten off more than I can chew at the moment. Not to mention I have had virtually no privacy of late (my little one had a three day school week and my college age kid is hanging around the house and I feel.......inh ibited.

I have not yet felt writer's block concerning reviews, but this is also a push review and I NEED to do it.

What do you do to get out of Blockage?

I go back and forth between trying to "inspire" myself with witty literature or comedic movies and then to beating myself into completing it. I don't have one particular way that seems to be guaranteed to work so I'll try quite a bit before I'm successful.

Whenever I experience a creative block, I typically do one of two things. First, take time off from the project. Literally drop it and not even think about it for awhile, like a few weeks. Usually I come back with fresh new ideas. The other option is to set a deadline for myself and basically force myself to complete it by a certain date. Strangely, I found I often made some of my most creative pieces late at night when I was trying to make a deadline.

Thanks, Kindred and Jen. I'll have to try those.

I used to do a lot of creative things late at night, and I loved it, but my health has caused that to be nearly impossible. I also need an empty home to do videos of sex toys.

Take a break and also reward yourself for completing it. (Like a special relaxing time with toys)
