Do you think that pictures in written reviews help potential buyers? I love putting pictures in my review so people can get a better feeling for the product they buy.
Do pictures in reviews help buyers?

I think it depends on what the picture depicts. If it is just another picture of the item-no. If it depicts unusual features, size comparison, fit for lingerie--yes.

I think they can be very helpful. Especially for thing like size comparison or being able to see lingerie on a human sans the help of professional lighting and Photoshop.

Yes I find them helpful.

I find them more helpful than the photos on the product page most times.

Photos aren't helpful in and of themselves, but if they show the size of an item, or how the item is different from the product pictures, or anything else useful, then I like them.
If they're super, super blurry or way out of focus I certainly don't find them helpful at all.

I'm a big fan of contributor photo uploads too, esp with lingerie and compared to other things.
I know how big a 20 oz bottle of soda is, how big is the toy compared to that?

They can be helpful, provided they show something relevant and aren't blurry.

Definitely like photos in reviews. I'm a visual girl when trying to describe something.

Lingerie pictures help me immensely when they're being worn and a shot of the whole outfit. Close up pics don't really help me though. Size comparison pictures for toys help me too.

Photos are always helpful, since we're such visual creatures. But especially for clothing -- I mean, clothing in general is showing off our bodies visually, so it's important to actually see this.

I personally think they do.

Yes, especially photos comparing them with other toys so you can really notice the shape or size comparisons.

I love photos. They really help me. Especially things like flexibility and size.

Absolutely. I prefer reviews which have pictures, because it gives me a much better idea than description alone (I'm a "visual" learner). Photos are very helpful, and I always appreciate them!

I think they do.

They are usually quite helpful if they try to show a particular characteristic or aspect of the item that the reviewer thinks is noteworthy. The photos provided by manufacturers and stores usually don't show any details. I'm a very visual person and a good picture is worth a thousand words.

It depends on the photo. If I can see the product, or the point the reviewer is trying to illustrate (for example, focus doesn't need to be absolutely perfect to show how close something is in size to a bottle of Coke), then the photos are helpful.
If I have to bend my neck 90°, cross my eyes like I'm looking at a stereogram, whip out a magnifying glass, or if the photo is grossly out of focus or too dark, then it's not helpful.

Well, they definitely don't hurt!

Yes.

I find them helpful. I often like to see the packaging and all the parts. I also like pics that show how the toy compares size wise to everyday objects.

I also find them helpful. Size comparisons and how the product will actually look from different directions are what I look for. For instance in becks review of Icicles #32 link I never would have known it was curved from the original product pic but she took the time and effort to show us the curve, which is so very helpful.

Yes, pictures are very helpful

Yes photos are very helpful. In the case of lingerie it is because the stock photo can be photoshopped and sometimes be a different color. Plus then you get to see what the inner lining looks like. Photos for lubes and bath products are good for showing the reader the thickness and viscosity. Also I agree with everyone else, size comparisons are nice.
