One reviewer mentioned getting a case of burnout on review writing. I was there a few weeks ago and thought it was just my issue. I have a serious case of writer's block on one review item but am putting it to the side for now, luckily it wasn't an assignment!! Tips or tricks on dealing with burn out or writer's block? Your experiences? Other issues you have had writing reviews?

Assignments usually help me, at least a little bit because they sort of force me to get back into the groove.

Try to review a product in a different category. I try to mix them up. If I just did a vibrator, I'd do a lingerie piece next, then maybe a BDSM piece next.
It also helps if you don't write too many reviews at once. Limit yourself to a certain number of reviews a week. When you are not writing reviews, do something else, don't think about your reviews. I play computer games and watch netflix for a change some nights

The only thing I have found that helps me on both a written and video review is to take a good break. Sometimes 30 minutes helps me, sometimes it takes a day. But generally I need to go do something else, usually get off the computer completely, or at least watch like a 30-45minute tv show on netflix.

What helped me a few days ago was stepping away from it and trying the set on again with fresh eyes. I noticed different things that helped me with my review.

I'm with Sam.
If it's not an assignment I have trouble making myself write a review.
