I think the technical aspects of the toy are most important (quality - materials/features/fun ction...does it do what it should?) Then...personal experience. Photos can help but I have always hated reviews that just add photos for now reason...it's like spamogram. Here's the toy on my bed, with a cool filter, next to my hand, next to my cat, etc. Just stop. If it adds to the info already provided, I welcome it
Same thing with videos. For the most part, I'm not super interested in listening to you talk about a toy, but if the toy does some awesome stuff that is best visually shown, I'd love to see it.
I like the extended format for the most part, but some sections could be removed or combined. Experience and personal comments are the same thing to me. Care and material could be combined in a way. I often find that I repeat some material there.
I think the expectations for review content has laxed. I am happy about this. I don't think a 1000 word review is necessary for most toys. The competitiveness has gone away and I'd like to see more people just having fun writing reviews rather than worrying about including every possible thing someone might have in their review or covering every question. I LOVE to write. It's easy for me to write lengthy reviews, but that doesn't mean I expect it from everyone. I'd rather see shorter non-repetitive reviews than ones that are just filled with fluff and images.
