Review name?

Does it matter what the review name is?
I seen tons of reviews that have different names then a some that have the name of the prduct.
Does it really matter, I mean if you have a name other then the product name does it make you want to read it more?

The titles aren't super important to me, but an interesting title will sometimes capture my attention and get me to read a review that I otherwise would have skipped past.

This is what I was going to say. I like when someone comes up with something you are like "What does that say", then you have to read the review.

Review names can really draw people in. I know i've clicked on a few reviews just because of the name.

exactly. On the one hand, the titles don't contribute much to the review as a whole, but its ability to draw people in can make all the difference.

I was under the impression that review titles with just the product name in it were descriptive reviews.

The title's don't matter to me at all. I'm either getting updates from those I like to read all the time, reading those that are nominated in the rumbles, reading the ones that I'm mentoring, reading something from someone that read something of mine, reading something that I'm planning on getting, or reading the ones that I'm editing so the review title doesn't matter to me.

I like to see the size in the title of lingerie reviews, and I also have a slight preference towards being able to guess if the review is going to be positive or negative or 'meh' from the title. Other than that, clever or witty is nice, but not necessary.

Yes, this is very true. You have to catch people's attention.

A long time ago there was no option for titling reviews so the title was the name of the product. You can choose to do that now, and I've done it when I literally couldn't think of another title, which is I think twice now. One I honestly couldn't think of a title (Gay Man's Kama Sutra) and one I didn't even want to chance trying to make a witty title (Mia Isabella's windup toy).

As for myself, a funny title has absolutely drawn me in to reviews I wouldn't have read otherwise but I usually don't put much thought into them otherwise.

I think the title is one of the more important parts of the review.

Which review would find yourself reading:
Pipedream Nipple Clamp Review
- or -
My nipples are crying!

Title sets the mood for the reviewer. The Summary wraps it all together. The Pros and Cons boils the review down to what you liked and didn't like about the product.

Please, be original and creative with your review titles!

A title can be used to draw attention and make me read a review I would otherwise not be interested in. If someone can be that creative with a title, I want to read what else they have to say.

I consider the title of my reviews extremely important and I actually put a fair amount of thought and time in creating them.

I catch a review name faster then if it was just the product used. Makes you think hmm what are they reviewing and how they came up with that.

A catchy title makes it more memorable. If there are ten reviews for the same product, you are more likely to remember the one with the most stand-out title. If the ten reviews had the product name as the title, it is going to be more difficult to find one particular review that you liked.

Oh ok, I thought maybe not using the product name in my first couple of DRs were the reason they weren't used as such. So funny and clever or witty titles are acceptable for DRs?
