Do you ever put off writing reviews? Or just take forever at them because you drag your feet? The one I'm currently working on feels like it's taking forever, but it's mainly because it isn't my 'sort' of toy!

Some of it depends on my mood, but if it is an average toy that has nothing amazing or seriously wrong, it is hard to get excited about the review. I am fine if there are pluses or minuses, but when there are no real feelings either way.... meh.

If it was a toy I didn't like then yeah I would be too..

That's when I get my procrastination! Or if there are already a lot of reviews!

Depends on the item. If it's not something I'm crazy about, I'll put it off a bit longer than the items I absolutely love.

My procrastination often has to do with the toy for me. With toys that have a lot of reviews, or are simpler in nature - it becomes hard to say something that is new and meaningful at times. I mean I can get all the basic info down, but to put a personal spin on it or come up with my personal commentary about what makes it great/good seems difficult. It seems easiest to write reviews about things that aren't great for me for a specific reason, or that have some interesting function to them.

The one I just did isn't my best and I know it but I just wanted to get it over with because like you said, it just wasn't for me. It was one of the free assignments I asked for (the first actually) but the first arrived broken and I had to wait for a replacement and I got another free assignment before it came and I liked that toy better. I really wanted it when I asked for it but once I got it I was just like, blah. I'm just glad I didn't buy this one. I had it for a week before I even bothered to take it out and try it.

I had one toy that I absolutely hated. I chose to write a short, quick review to just get it out of the way. It ended up being a not great review, but it was nice to finish it.

I had another review that I started, but kind of forgot about because I didn't have internet access. When I went back to finish the review, I felt like I didn't have the same zeal and descriptive ability to write a great review. It turned out OK in the end, but man it was a task...

I'm probably Eden's worst procrastinator, when it comes to writing reviews. It might be a year later, when I finally want to write about my toys, and usually because I need to point out something other reviewers missed.

Other...depends on how much time I have to spend on things outside of work, school, and a pseudo family.

sometimes its just my mood that makes me drag things out. depending on how i feel.

It really depends on my mood. I just have been in a funk lately and haven't felt like writing.

It depends on my opinion on the toy..I find it easier to write if I really liked/disliked it

If it's something i got from here that I'm not expected to review I wait try it out for as long as it takes in everyway possible for me in order to get a better feel for the item & that takes time. I have to try out all the special features and claims on the item like waterproof, pure silicone, different functions and places to use it, etc.
Sometimes things I buy get discontinued as soon as after I purchase them so I don't get the chance review them. Other things I bought as gifts to others I will not review, and also toys I could not use for whatever reason or anything defective.
If it's review that Eden wants as in some type of assignment I will get to it as soon as I can and do it in parts, packaging photos and basic info when I first get it, and the rest after I have used it several times so I write it the best I can and be the most useful to readers.
Also it's less overwhelming to me to do a little bit here and there until I feel the review is perfect.

If its something I don't enjoy it's hard for me to write a review, which is bad because that's a disservice to others.
