I don't see anything wrong with that.
Ladies have/would you do a review on a male masturbator?

Nothing wrong with that. I've seen it done before

I think having a guy's input is important but hearing a lady's perspective is interesting when she was part of the experience.

So would you write a review over one? Have you? Do you think that only men should do it because they understand what it'll feel like to men? less

I just reviewed a masturbator sleeve as a mentor program assignment! I think it's perfectly fine for females to review these products, I filled out as much as a could & then I asked my husband for assistant & his expiernce, he then read it over to make sure it was detailed & accurate. We plan on reviewing more.

As a male reviewer who just wrote such a review as my first ever toy review...
Although I might have been able to provide enough feedback for someone else to write the review, the review writing process itself was an important part of determining what to include.
I read through other reviews of the product to help jar my mind on aspects I could be missing. There was a distinct difference between male-written reviews, female-written reviews, and reviews written by females with extensive help of a male partner. Probably all the female-written reviews involved male partners, but some reviews made this much more explicitly clear. The most distinct difference? Operational details. Not every toy is going to work for every man, and often times it is the small operational details relative to penis size, sensitivity, or even just how a certain man prefers to masturbate that will make or break a toy for him.
So, if you are going to write a review with a male partner's input, you are going to have to get into his head (the big one) and dig out why the toy is not absolutely perfect for him. It is highly unlikely that it is absolutely perfect and takes care of all his needs from a sex toy. Any cursory glance at a well written female sex toy review by a female reviewer will show this quality right away. I think getting to those make or break details is much trickier when you have to get your feedback through another person, unless you get that person directly involved in the review writing process.

I've acquired several men's toys for my boyfriend - a Fleshlight, some Tenga Eggs, a VerSpanken, cock rings, etc. - and have reviewed them after "interviewing" him about his experience with them.
11/24/2012
I write reviews for male masturbators. I make sure all of the facts and information is in there and he does the experience parts. It works out well.
11/24/2012
I did it a few weeks ago, and will be doing it again next week. Husband doesn't usually use these toys on his own. We use them as a couple's toy together as an occasional substitute for hand/blow jobs. So, I give the info on the size, cleaning, material, and how easy it is for me to use on him, and he gives me the details what did or did not work for him.
11/25/2012
I think it is fine for a woman to write a review on a male toy.
11/25/2012
I think as long as you have a man using it, and have them tell you about it, then it's fine. I've got a cock ring I'm getting ready to review, and proably getting the hubby a fleshlight for Christmas. And hell yeah, if I'm spending that much money on it, you can bet I'm at least going to get a review out of it! xoxo
11/25/2012
Well to be through and useful you would have to have some experience so unless you have a male use it, it wouldn't really be a good review.
If you get a guy and such that's fine, the problem then is properly citing him so you dont take all the credit and rewards for his input.

I actually did my first free item review on one of these. it was more for my boyfriend, trying to get him involved in my new interest in eden fantasys.
11/30/2012
I would just ask my husband his feelings on it to incorporate into the review.
11/30/2012
I have and will again. I ask my husband how it feels, what he would rate it, what he likes about it, dislikes, etc. He tells me all the information I need to know, and I go forward and write the review on it.

I have reviewed a product like that in the past:

I think it is just fine, i for example, personally love prostate massages, just something that cannot pass.

i think that as long as there is someone to actually use te item it is fine if a woman writes the review.

definitely review
01/09/2013
I would review it. Just put the man's experience in.
01/09/2013
I just wrote one on- The gripper, sure grip. I put both of our opinions and reviews into it.
01/09/2013
I think it's cool to get a female perspective on those sorts of things, since it can add depth on how it can be incorporated into partner play.

Yes, I would review a product like that.

We recently reviewed a lube aimed at males, meant for masturbating and sleeve enhancement, and also safe for sex. We made sure to use it in a variety of ways, and I made sure to include my partners thoughts and opinions on it as well. I'm not sure he'd be open to or willing to use an actual toy to masturbate, but if he was we'd do it together, and I'd be sure to include his words, too!

I think it's good to have several opinions to choose from when you are looking at reviews. I regularly review toys someone might consider women-only and I have gotten a lot of positive feedback. I figure you can't have too much information.

I would and have, but I would include a male perspective on it as well.

I already talked to my husband about it and asked if i got him a toy if he would let me help him use it and if he would give me all the details i need. He was willing and i think it would be hot to help him use one.

I have written one about these basing my review off my boyfriend's experience and our overall experience as a couple.
03/15/2013
I'd do a review for it.
