There are many variations of toys and just as many variations of opinions. With this in mind, I would like to know what your personal opinion is on what makes a review work for you. Please remember--other people are not going to agree, but lets try to learn from this so we can make our own reviews more helpful--not take offense at the varying opinions of others.

I am pretty old school with this topic as I have been here a long time. For me, the review needs to talk about the toy, what it is made of, how it feels, how it is made, how the functions work, how large or small it is, how to clean it, how to keep it clean, how it worked for the user. It is a simple line up really but that is what makes a really good review in my book.

I agree. I am trying to gain a fresh perspective for my new reviews as well as help newcomers write informative reviews of their own. Thank you so much for your input!

Personally, I find that reviews that include just the facts as well as a possible alternative use for the product to be helpful. I like to know measurements as well as features that might be included to improve or features that just get in the way of operating the item.
