I am now an "advanced member" but still no assignment

Contributor: Owl Identified Owl Identified
I have now been accepted as an advanced member and have already requested two items for review and they have been "canceled" by the administrator(s) each time. The second I requested was after the first was rejected. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks a bunch.

Check to make sure that the toy you're requesting don't already have reviews. If the toy has one review, then you can request it and will probably get it if you can write a different or better review. If the toy already has two verified reviews then no-go.

Also check to see that you're requesting a toy that is in your point guideline range.

This is what I'm confused about. I read the guidelines very closely and I made sure that I understood them. The two I requested each had one verified review (pretty much everything does!) but I had a reason why my review would be fundamentally different and valuable due to this difference. Both were rejected. Additionally, they are both in my price range. Hence my confusion

Thank you both for responding though.

While it may have just 1 verified review that shows, there is always the chance that someone requested it before you so the review is still pending. Otherwise, I really don't have an idea.

I am sorry that you are confused (and that your connection is wonky), but please feel free to email me directly if you have any questions at: partners@edenfantasys. com.

To answer your questions:

The items that you requested already had two thorough reviews each, both by advanced level contributors – at least one of which was assigned. This means there is adequate information on the products.

An excerpt from the Review Program Guidelines: “First are Review Assignments, which is a product that is chosen by the contributor within the pricing guidelines and requested through the assignment cart. The administrators may approve or cancel your requested assignment based on whether the product is in your price range (see Pricing Guidelines) and if the product already has reviews. If the product already has reviews, we typically do not approve the request unless there is a compelling reason. Whichever the outcome, you will receive email notification. If it is approved, you must then accept the assignment before it will be shipped to you.”

When you are declined an assignment request, there is a message informing you that you are able to send a message to the Admin as well (that’s me). This is also written in the guidelines.

During the time that I was writing this response, I noticed that you requested another product a few minutes ago. Your newest request *is* being approved because it only has two reviews, one of which is not thorough. So, it makes sense to have an additional free assignment go out for that product.

I hope this clears up all of your confusion.

Thank you! This does help me and I understand the guidelines quite a lot better. Thanks
