How would you like to improve?

As a reviewer, what are the ways you'd like to improve?

For me, I wish I was a bit more humourous/witty but I think that my style of humour just doesn't go well in informational type writing.

Anyone else have areas in which they'd to improve?

I wish I were better at describing the way things look and work. I have a hard time translating what I see (like the buttons on a control pad) into words that describe them well.

I wish i could get better with my punctuation. I know how to write and describe things but i kind of failed to pay attention about commas and exclamation points in english class.

I would like to be wittier and more entertaining. Possibly more concise, too.

I wish I were more humorous, too. I try to be, but I dunno.

I wish I were better at reviewing lube, omg.

I also wish I was less critical. If it doesn't absolutely blow my mind, it pretty much goes into my "let's see how long it takes this to mutate" box. LOL

Funnier, definitely, and more descriptive.

I guess more humorous, I try to give my honest perspective on an item but perhaps I am too bland. I usually think of some good lines when i am using a toy but they somehow get lost in the details of the review.
Some toys like double dils are difficult to explain as there are so many ways to enjoy them; alone, with a partner, male or female partner, positions (can change the dynamics), with and w/o a harness and on and on....

I wish I were more self-aware with my writing. I'm an awful judge of my own work - what I think is awesome ends up being sort of meh, what I think is sort of blah ends up with a really positive response. I'm funny when I'm trying to be earnest and uptight where I think I'm being helpful.

All in all, I think it's just more reason to write what I enjoy for my own personal audience of one. If anyone else finds it informative, that's great. If not, I find comfort in the fact that the majority of toys here have more than one review so the less useful gets balanced out by the more.

I wish I could be more succinct. My reviews usually end up being waaaay too long.

I think I could be more funny while still being informative. Sometimes I think my reviews can be rather dull.

The way I talk is rather willowy and all over the place, I have to try and make my writing easier for people to understand.

Just better in general! Humorous is okay too. I don't really know what type of reviewer I'd like to be though.

I have a similar issue with my reviews. People sometimes gravitate toward the ones I don't think are all that hot. Heh
