How long did you wait to start writing reviews?

Contributor: Experiment Experiment
How long were you a member of the EF community before you started writing reviews through their review program? Do you think that time changed how well you wrote or how you went about writing your reviews? I always wonder how long people wait and if they think that amount of time affects the writing quality/information of the reviews.

I started writing right away and do not think that taking more time, in my case, would have made a difference. I have always loved to write and noticed that once I got the hang of writing for an adult site, that my review quality has basically stayed pretty high.

I started right away. I do think that taking more time to read review would have made a difference in my first few reviews, but in the end I figured it out and it was okay.

Also if you're interested there's a great mentor program available which will help you write the best reviews you can!

I started immediately. I've been here less than a month and I've written five so far. But then, I have a heavy writing background in thesis delivery. For my age at least, I'm only 19.

I waited, because I had no experience with toys and thought I should experiment with a few before I'd feel comfortable writing a really useful review.

I started writting reviews about a year later after I joined EF. But, I just bought some toys in my first purchase, and didn't return to EF in that whole year.

I waited a few months because I wasn't sure if I was comfortable doing it and I just looked around for awhile and read some reviews my friend wrote. Waiting didn't really affect my reviews, you can still tell how shy and unsure I was if you read the first handful I wrote.

I started right away. I probably should have waited a little bit to get a feel for writing reviews. Reading the great reviews on this site has really helped me understand what I need to include that I didn't include in my first two reviews.

I started after a few months. I wasn't active when I first joined EF. I don't think it really affected the quality of my reviews. I followed several sex toy blogs and I had been using toys for a few years.

I first got involved with EF by being in the Eden Loves Bloggers program, and there was some confusion about participating in that and being a reviewer at the time. Once I got some clarification I decided to dive in as I was already reviewing toys on my own personal blog.

I waited about 3 months to begin. Just surveying the way things are done before jumping in to it.

I waited for over a year before I started writing. I was busy with personal life and I wanted to see how it's done first. =]

Depending on the product sometimes I review it right away. And other times I will wait up to five months to review toys and products from EF

I actually found the site when a friend got me some gifts from it! She doesn't use the review program, but tipped me off about it, and I thought it would be fun. My first few reviews were awful, but I like to think I've made some progress!

Some items have taken me two years to write, and others I start writing before they are even out of the box. It just depends on my mood, buy-out assignment and how I enjoyed the toy.

I started fairly quickly after I purchased my first toy off the site. I love writing and I feel it was a chance to brush up on my writing skills!
