Yesterday I read a review that had misinformation in it. It was for a toy that I have, and as I was reading I kept thinking that they didn't really have the toy. I realize that there would be no way to prove this. But it made me angry that reviewers spend their money buying a toy and then spend their time writing a review and this person posted a crummy review for an expensive product he probably didn't have. I don't think he even read the other reviews. What I did was vote not useful and left a comment that corrected the most glaring mistake. I feel bad now. This is the first time I have ever voted lower than useful for a review. Did I over react? What should I have done?
Have you ever read a review and noticed it had incorrect information about the toy? What did you do?

what would you do?

I've never come across it luckily. However, I think you did the right thing! I probably would have reported it to admin as well.

You shouldn't feel bad. You did exactly the right thing. Misinformation is worse than no information at all. I would take it a step further, personally, and report it to an admin, such as JR. This person may be writing reviews on toys they don't have. This is unethical, against the rules, and bad for consumers.

I have before, I mentioned it in the comments. If it was something that continued to happen then I would contact someone about it.

If you notice something like this, send an email to admin, or to JR, so it can be checked out.

Depends on what info is wrong, if it is about material cleaning or the type of material I will send them a private message and bring it to their attention. If it is way off all around I will send the admin's a message.
There have been times when the manufacturer has changed the material or even the shape, so I feel that by contacting the reviewer to verify the claims can save me from rating it with a low vote. Then the issue can be brought to EF's attention so corrections can be made.

Nope, but I would just private message the person.

I haven't seen anything outright wrong in a review but if I did I would leave a comment about it.

When I've noticed something like that, it was minor enough that I was able to leave the reviewer a brief, kind note in the comment section. I just asked for clarification on the issue in question, and they realized it was wrong and fixed it. So obviously, that misinformation was not intentional.
If it was a lot of misinformation, then I think I would send an email to JR as others have mentioned. Because the person may be doing it repeatedly on purpose just to point farm. Then the staff can look into it and take any necessary action.
