Defective EF Sponsored Item. What do I do?

Contributor: PassionQT PassionQT
Do I write the assigned review even though I cannot test it at all? Or do I pack it up for an exchange for the same item? One of the battery slots is damaged (the spring) and there's nothing I can do to fix it to even get the toy started! It's a dud. It's this toy : Fairy Massager

Contact Gary and let him know. Also do a support ticket for the order and they'll tell you what to do.

I'd still mention getting a dud in the review for when you eventually get a working one because that DEFINITELY affects my probability of buying one. I guess there's not a quality check done on the toys by the manufacturer.

There can be a dud to even the best of products. How the company handles exchanging it for you is what really matters. I would only mention it in a review if it seems to be a repeat problem with a certain product.

That's a good point. It's hard to consider the manufacturer's return policy and customer support when doing it through a third party seller though.

Well this toy doesn't even say anywhere on the box who makes it! Nothing whatsoever! And some of the info on the box is wrong, for example it says it has a removable battery case. Not on my toy!
