Contributor: Victoria Victoria
Hello all! We have great news for you! Updated easy-access information galore!

New Review Program Guidelines:
We’ve updated the Review Program content to be an all-inclusive set of guidelines, available on our page for your easy reference. You can find them here. We hope these guidelines will help answer your questions by providing examples, explaining the processes and giving you quick links to pricing, satellite programs and other functions – all in one place.

New Description Review Program Guidelines:
The information on how to become involved in this program and what is expected of those in the program is now available on the website here

New Off-Site Review Program Guidelines:
The process for participating in Off-Site reviewing and details on how to format your reviews and links are on this page

New Pricing Guidelines:
Everyone wants to be judged on their merit, right? And we’d all agree that there are some poorly written reviews out there. So, to be fair to those who work hard and care more about quality than quantity…we’ve changed the Pricing Guidelines schematic to go by rank, not number of reviews. To view the updated Pricing Guidelines, go to this page

Contributor Ranking - breakdown and logic:
Now you can find the ranking percentages on the website. We spell it out for you in easy terms, so that you know just how much your hard work amounts to in your ranking! We calculate once a day and everyone wins with our curve! Check it out here

We hope these links are helpful to both new and old contributors alike. The website is ever-evolving and we strive to be a resource for all of you. We have many updates in the pipeline and many we’ve already done; there are numerous functions and updates we attend to daily and more involved programming that sometimes take weeks, It’s a process but the end result is always progress; whether it’s a more streamlined way for contributors to interact or better promotions and sales on the website – we’re always moving forward. This is an exciting time at Eden Fantasys, as we continue to grow along with our burgeoning community!

Thanks!

Most excellent! I've been trying to find all of this stuff in one place, rather than trying to remember it all by rote.

the system seems great. It seems like a lot of people have been asking for something like this for a while. I also agree with Backseat Boohoo, it's nice to have everything in one place.

I do have one question. Seeing as follow-up reviews factor into ranking- what about people that are unable to submit follow-up reviews onsite because theirs was an offsite review?

I went to one of my reviews to follow-up and it said 'N/A' where normally it says 'Write' or 'View'. For those people like me that are doing offsite reviews do they miss out on being able to fully raise their rank compared to people that do strictly onsite reviews?

I also have a question. Well, not really a question so much as something that made me go "hmmm".

It seems a little strange, to me, that the number of comments on a review is part of our rank. While comments *can* equal popularity they often equal a less than complete review. I know it's pretty common for folks to "nudge" others to include things they've missed by asking questions on reviews. It seems almost like a reward for a substandard review if that type of comment is considered popularity in tallying our rank.

Does that make sense? I'd hate to see people not posting those helpful comments but it seems likely no one is going to want to *raise* someone's rank if the review is not so hot.

I think if you go to your reviews list under the contributor tab and click on the review title for off site reviews you can get to the follow up review screen from there. It works for me, anyhow.

Random note, but I think the N/A thing is a bug. I have on-site reviews without follow-ups that say "N/A," but I could still go to the actual review and add a follow-up from there if I wanted to.

Yeah. I just did a follow up on my Story of O review to test it and it appears to have worked just fine.

(Posted this on another thread before I saw this one)

Thank you so much for updating the Review Program & Description Program Guidelines. I think they are much easier to understand and I like that the information is all together.

One thing I noticed missing is the "one free toy a month" in the Review Program. I know the previous guidelines said you can receive one toy a month, but then an administrator said in a forum you cannot receive another free assignment until one month from when you post your review of your last free toy. Just wondering if this has changed (like the pricing guidelines did), or if it is the same and also where this information is now. (I'm off lately...maybe I'm just not seeing it?)

Thanks again for the changes!
