How Long Do You Wait Before Doing Your Follow Ups?

Contributor: *Camoprincess* *Camoprincess*
Normally I wait the 2 months or longer depending on the item I reviewed before submitting my follow up review. So how long do you wait? I have noticed some people do it a day or even a week after initial review which to each their own but I want to know how long you wait & why.

If you are doing your follow up review to add in additional information you may have forgotten don't forget you can edit your reviews after they are published for a short time.

I do the 2 month time period, but if a toy can't even last that long I'd definitely add that to a review.

As soon as I have something important to say! A lot of toys I never do follow ups on because I don't have anything to mention, but some I will do it sooner. Like if I review it after having it a week, and it breaks after 3 weeks of use, I'm going to do a follow up review at the '2 week' mark.

Not set time period, just whenever I have something more to say. I try to wait at least a month or two, unless it breaks before then.

Ditto this. I rarely do follow ups anymore, unless I have something new or important to mention. And when I have something new or important to mention, I just do it "whenever".

I'll get the email notification that it's time to do my follow up, but if there's nothing more to say I just ignore those notices.

I don't really do follow up reviews unless something else needs to be brought up. Like if it broke in a few months or something. Otherwise I just leave it alone.

I try to wait at least a few months...sometimes longer if I'm still on the fence about a toy. I don't really understand those who wait only a few days or a week....I want to put some time into it.

I tend to wait 2 months most of the time. A lot of my reviews since I've been starting out have been for products we've owned for awhile. So I will review it, and then a month or so later I'll do a follow-up on that, because we already know how the product is for us. With new stuff I definitely wait two months.

Sometimes I have a toy for a while before I even write the review on it. So writing a follow up review before the two month time frame still makes sense because I've had it for so long already. I also will write them sooner if something's gone wrong or something comes up that I wanted to write about it.

Depends on product. I know this sounds weird but if I do a review on something that might be somewhat related I will do my follow up at that time. I have some that are do for follow up now!

Depends on the product, if I hated it the first time there wouldn't be needing a follow up on it because I wouldn't be using it again.

Sometimes it takes awhile before the novelty of a new toy leaves me, so I try and wait about 2-3 months.
