Whip and flogger beginner help please!
What is the pain difference between the two? I'm wanting to get a paddle and one of these, but don't know much about them. We have only used hands so.
Great toy for a beginner?
Yes I know this might be weird, but my mom has never tried a toy and her sex life is well slowing down. She's gone through menopause so her and my dad
Great for Beginners?
When people add that to their review what do they mean exactly. Great for beginners to using vibes/dildos etc, or great for a beginners to sex; or a..

Just getting into toys and was curious to see what people think are good starters.
Bondage Beginners
For beginners, would you recommend tape or some type of rope? How difficult is it to break free?

Get involved with the forums, people are so welcoming here and you will really feel part of the community by interacting.

You will get back what you put into the community. If you want friends, to feel included, etc. you really need to put yourself out there and join in the community. Once people realize you are willing to be part of the social aspect--you will be very included. Everyone is welcome-do not take things overly personal--have fun and join the party!!

I'm new and confused about rankings and everything. I don't get how you get ranked and I don't know how to see my ranking. It says I have to have a certain rank before I can do any programs.

I'm also new and would like to know what is the best way to get socializing with the other members?

The best way to socialize is to do exactly what you're doing. Post comments on threads. Send personal messages and talk with other members. There is also a forum section called the lounge where there is actually a "Social" section. Go in and introduce yourself and start talking to people. Like it was said above, you get back what you put out. Try making friends, most of the people here are really friendly and helpful especially if they know you're new to things.

Your best bet is to go into the mentor program(It teaches you how to write reviews most effectively. The option for it is on your dashboard page on the left hand side where it lists everything else.). The easiest way to see your ranking is to go to your public page. In the right hand corner there is a link that says "My Eden" and how many points you've earned. It's right beside the Help option. Click that and it should give you the option to see your public profile.

Hit the About Me section and in the left hand side it should tell you your rank. Right now it's not there because you haven't submitted a review. Once you do you can start building your rank. Your rank is influenced by how active you are in the forums, how well your reviews are received by the community and it fluctuates because every other members participation affects it. If you post one review all year and somebody else posts one every day they will force your rank down because they're more active. IF you're active then it should stay around the same number and slowly grow with the more you do.
Now, if you don't want to review and just want to use the forums then you can ignore everything I've said. You only worry about your rank if you're a reviewer. If you're just here for fun they don't mean anything to you, nor do they affect you. Since you want to do tasks though, you do have to submit reviews to build your rank in order to be accepted into the programs.
Here is a link that explains the ranking better. If you have any more questions please feel free to message me and I'll do my best to answer them or find somebody who can.

Will someone tell me what exactly happens when you get a mentor to accept you? How long does it take to get your first assignment? I have read the FAQ, but need a little more emphasis on the subject. Oh, and one more thing if I connect my account with Facebook will it post comments on my behalf? I foresee it being easier just using facebook but I am a pretty discreet person and i'm not sure if my family would enjoy seeing me posting things about sex toys. LOL
Thank you!
Thank you!
