Description Review (what I'm sure are) FAQ

Contributor: Elaira Elaira
I've got a couple of questions about this program. I've done four DR assignments.

Is there any way we could check our status in the program? I've been told it shows up on your profile that you're a Description Reviewer, but it doesn't show up on mine and I'm in the program.

Is there any way you could get booted out of the program?

Why did I get a toy that already had a DR on it?

I don't think your profile ever says that you're in the DR program, at least not that I've heard of. I suppose you could get booted, but I would think you would get notified. It shouldn't be an issue as long as you continue to do a good job. And was it a DR assignment that you got or a regular Admin assignment? I have gotten regular assignments for new products that someone else has also gotten as a DR.

It was in my assignments as DR.

An admin told me it should be on my profile.

That's why I'm still confused!

You could double check with Gary regarding the DR assignment. Is it possible the item has changed and so requires a new DR?

I've never seen anyone identified as being in the DR program on their profile. Again, Gary would be the one to ask since he runs the program (or at least used to).

I'm in the DR program and mine doesn't say anything on my profile. I'm not sure why you would be sent a DR on something that already had a DR, unless it was a case where an official DR was needed, but somebody else had already written a review on the item. The system on the back end is a little screwy sometimes and might also demand there be two DRs. I don't work with that end, so I can't say for certain, but it sometimes demands reviews on odd things, so it's a possibility. But Kindred is right about asking Gary, he should know

I am one of the original DR review people and it has never said it on my profile. It says next to my review in my account list of reviews though. Maybe that's what they meant? And they appear on the product page.

Is there any way you could get booted out of the program?- If you stop doing them on a timely basis, you could stop getting DR assignments.

If it was a regular review, this is standard and nothing curious about it. If you got a DR review, it is possible the previous one wasn't good enough.
