Thanks everyone. It seems hard to believe that I first visited this site the last week of September and here I am winning the rumble. I knew NOTHING about toys when I started - and didn't know much about lingerie.

Thanks to my mentors Alan & Michelle and to Sam (aka Julia) - I have learned so much. Also Antipova taught me so much as she edited my reviews.

I really appreciate y'all - the votes meant a lot to me - the comments on the reviews even more.

What is funny is both of my "sex mentors" actually called me on the same day about a week or so ago. The first one gasped (she's the one who suggested a bullet over 2 years ago and we never got one) and said, "You're writing sex toy reviews? But you're like the epitome of 'good' - you're the 'good girl' - and YOU'RE writing sex toy reviews?" She was glad I warned her to put down her drink before I told her why I was so busy lately.

The second gal was from the couple who recommended sex toys to us years ago - a couple almost our age. I told her about our first vibrator - how it hurt, etc. (she said it would've hurt her too) and how we avoided toys for years because of it.

She said she wished we'd told them...they would have steered us to better stuff.

Oh well....live and learn? At least we're enjoying them now. In fact, my new Mimi is on the charger!

I'm nominating Buzzvibe's Form 6 Fail, because it's a very excellent review of a very disappointing experience (and those are always hard to write about)---plus she was the first one with the guts ... okay, the buttons are on the insertable portion of the vibe? and it still has 12 five-star reviews, and 2 four-star reviews, and hers is the first ever to dock off more than one star for having buttons be inoperable while in use?

Hats off to Buzzvibe for doing an honest job (and making it easy, though heartbreaking) to read, even though I'll bet it was really hard to write.
