Weekly Review Rumble #167!

Welcome to the first Weekly Rumble of 2013! We hope everyone had a great vacation and enjoyed their holiday celebrations.

Eligible reviews for this week's rumble should be published between 12:00 AM Friday, January 4th and 11:59 PM Thursday, January 10th.

The Rules:
- You cannot nominate yourself.
- You can nominate up to 3 reviews.
- Last week’s winner is ineligible in this week’s Rumble.
- No review can be in the Rumble more than once.
- The first review nominated from a contributor will be the one that makes it into the next Rumble, so please spread out the nominating love.

YIPPEE. i love the rumble.. i'm so glad to see it back this year.

What happens to the reviews that were nominated on the last thread? Do they not carry over?

I noticed last week was the semi-final...did I miss a normal rumble in there too?

The last two weeks the rumble was pretty much on hiatus due to holidays.

so what happened to all the noms, then? I feel like if they weren't going to be used, there should have been something saying, please don't nominate this week.....

There was something saying as such. In the last rumble "This is the last rumble of 2013, no need to make nominations".

Oh...well then boo on me!

I know I wasn't the only one making noms, right? bummer....

EDIT:

Not to be a pain...but I just reread the other rumble. It does say it's the last rumble of the year, but it doesn't say to not nominate. Obviously, according to the calendar it's the last rumble, so I don't think that makes it clear that anyone you nominate will not carry over to some future rumble, or makes the point to not nominate anyone at all.

Anyway...I'm off to find new noms!
