For Ladies Only: Do you carry condoms in your purse while on a date in case he doesn't have any?

Ladies while dating different guys do you play it safe and have condoms in your purse just in case the guy doesn't have any?

I am asking because I am going out tonight & tomorrow with different guys. I am scared to death of an STD. It hit me last night I could make sure I was safe and have condoms just in case he didn't. My older sister has an STD I am so scared of catching one. So far I have been lucky. I looked on Walmart and saw that some I could afford. I wanted to get them on EF but I knew even with them being in Atlanta the package would arrive on Monday after my dates.

since I don't do one night stands, I don't. but for anyone who does, it would be very wise to have them with you.

Hunny, a condom isn't going to protect you from something like AIDS/HIV. That's forever and a death sentence!
Please be extra careful, or don't have sex.
I don't carry any in my purse 'cause I just sleep with my best friend, we're both clean (and I have a birth control implant so we're all good there!) But I carry some in my "toy bag" for one of the toys.

During my "ancient" dating days, I did, only because my girlfriends did. I never needed on and if I had been with a guy that "not ready", nothing probably would have happened anyway.

This is an inaccurate statement. Condoms ARE the only way to protect yourself from AIDS/HIV if you don't know the partner's history and STD testing results.

However, there is nothing that will protect you from getting HPV if you are exposed to it, as the virus strains transfer by skin to skin contact.

Please do some research on the effectiveness of condoms before scaring people into thinking they aren't being protected.

I always did, but now, being married, I have no need to. However, if we ever do carry out our fantasy (MFM threesome) he will have to use a condom. Would LOVE to feel two men exploding in me at the same time.........but too scary these days.

If you truly want the experience there are ways to do it. It just takes patience and honesty from all parties (STD testing every two weeks for six weeks) at the same lab. If all tests come back clear and no new parties have been introduced at that point, then you should be good to go.

when I was single I always had one in my purse. after awhile I sometimes threw it away in fear that it may have been punctured. I don't think I ever used one of mine

I don't. I'm not interested in having casual sex, and if I have a partner I expect him to provide the condoms. I bought most of them for my previous relationship and man that was stupid of me.

if you think you'll have sex with one or both of the guys then do just in case the guy doesn't have any.... I don't but thats just bc I want a relationship before things get sexual. Good Luck!

When I was single I ALWAYS had condoms with me. It was so useful, and it made me feel so good that I was protecting myself.
No guy ever looked at me weird for having one, in fact the only time it was a problem was when I tried to put one on a guy I was seeing we were about to hook up for the first time so I pulled out one of my condoms. He goes... "uh, I need the large ones." I figured as much (he was hung like a pornstar) but luckily he had one of his own.
