Do you go up and ask for their number? Are you shy or up front when flirting with new people? Ever hit on a waitress, cashier, barista, etc? Another customer at a store? How'd it go?


Asking because I am the most blunt person ever but I have social anxiety problems so I am really shy when talking to new people. There is a barista that I chat with when I go in and today I was a pansy and didn't get his number! Wondering how other people do with flirting with strangers.

I used to be a huge flirt--and it was always pretty well received. When it was time for me to go,I would just say something about --it was fun to talk to them and since I had no idea if or when I would see them again...

Usually they would give me their number so we could meet up another time. Worked for me anyways--usually the guys were trying to get my number, but I was not into giving it out--prefer to call them and then I would know they were single,lol!!

I find it easier to flirt with people who I never have to see again than people I know. That being said, I'm usually not bold enough to make a solid move like ask for a number.

I am a huge flirt and love to flirt with strangers, it is fun! Although I rarely go through with it and ask them for their number or out to have some fun. This confuses the hell out of some girls because I've been asked why did you never ask me out and I say I dunno.

flirting is easy its just asking for a number thats the hard part... i agree with someone else in that i don't give out my number i'd rather get the guy's number so if i'm actually interested i can get in touch with them

Usually shy, but my confidence has improved a lot. I find it easier to flirt when I absolutely do not mean to pursue anything with the person... funny, right?
