Anyone found one online dating service that really beats the rest?

Any online dating service really worth mentioning as "head and shoulders" better then the others? Anyone get into a serious relationship after meeting using an online service?

We now personally know THREE couples, recently married, who "met" on MATCH.COM, but those are the ONLY couples we know of.

Match.com is the one I'd suggest for a single person.

I like okcupid, but I think it's because I went from a tiny student based dating site to that. It suddenly went from a tiny pool of people to thousands, and it has questions about ethics, children, politics, etc. that I think are really important.

I think they're all about the same honestly, at least with free ones. I met the most friends through DateHookup and PoF I guess but no real romantic prospects at any of them when I was on them.
I think meeting people through shared online interests works a lot better.

I like OkCupid a lot - they have a lot of really good questionaires that help to narrow down things that can make or break a relationship. I've met quite a few people there, and the profiles tend to be fairly complete and useful. There are always the people who don't fill out their profiles and just send out one line messages, but there don't seem to be quite as many of them on OkCupid as I've seen in other places.

okCupid! It's really fun on there. I love reading people's profiles, plus it's free and you can send messages and say anything you want. I think it's the best.
