With all the modern tools to keep in touch, how many do you use on an average day to connect to your significant other? Do you think staying VERY in touch keeps it "spiced up"?
How many ways do you contact your loved one in a day to "keep it hot" and stay "connected"

LDR, and I can't litter my phone with an out-of-area number yet. Those are the only ones I can use. I have an IM app on my phone, so he can contact me whenever he wants... almost like texting, but no fees.

we text constantly

Our phones are going off every five minutes or so when work is calm enough to do so. We talk about what we did and what we're going to do. It's a lot of fun and keeps us connected.

He is on the road a lot. So we call eachother 7 or 8 times a day as well as text daily.

Depends on where we are and what is going on.

My guy works and the only time I text him is to ask him what time he will be home for dinner so I can prepare it on time. He can't be bothered by my texts and honestly I think today, texting is so overrated. Especially a lot of young adults (but not restricted to this category and I am not trying to overgeneralize either), they can't do a days job without texting all day, which makes them look very incomeptent in front of customers.
Sorry for the rant, urgh!
Anyways, no we do not text BUT, we are very physical when we are together. We constantly touch each other, we do a lot of eye gazing and verbal teasing. It is fun and keeps things exciting.

Just by phone

I don't like the idea of calling my husband at the office, unless it is urgent. I don't want everyone looking at him like his wife is a pain in the ass and being clingy. (I do text him and email him and he responds at his convenience).
I have seen it in the office before, with women calling every 40mins. or so. The rest of the guys in the office start looking at that guy like he is a whipped little man and they stop taking him seriously. I have also seen it with some women whose husbands call them every second. I would rather see and or hear the text than the phone call thing all day.
