Does he still bring you flowers?

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
After many years of marriage, he still brings me flowers at least once a week. Sometimes, just a little bundle from the market, and that's more then fine. I always see fresh flowers at home and know it his way of being there and saying, "I love you".

He had to give a lecture in Paris (oh my), but only went for the weekend (lots of airport and travel, and no time on the ground), sucks. Anyway, he got back and even though it was super late, almost midnight, he stopped at the 24 hour grocery on the way home, for no reason other then to walk in the door with a dozen roses for me. How sweet is that? He even had work in the morning (like 5 AM wakeup), and needed the sleep, but he did that anyway.

Does your guy still bring you flowers?

Could that product be used with a lubricated condom and it not fall off or the condom (lol)? It sounds like a great product.

That's so sweet! Hubby has never really gotten into the flower-giving game, but he does other really sweet things like pick up a bowl of my favorite fruit medley from the grocery or my favorite candy. He's really, really good about those kinds of things.

The flower thing, though -- eh, not so much. He thinks they're a waste of money and I, for the most part, agree. Except when I stroll past the floral section and get a whiff of those glorious, heavenly flowers known as star gazers. (They're my absolute favorite.)

You've got a hell of a guy! And he's got a hell of a girl, who actually appreciates his effort. So this is kind of a catch 22 of goodness situation. I'd say you have a great relationship going!

He cuts roses from our yard when they bloom. Once is a while he'll get some from supermarkets or Costco. The florists are so expensive. My youngest son brings me flowers often when he visits.
