The hubby and I have never really done much of the role-playing thing, but one that has always intrigued me would be the strangers in a public place thing. Maybe go to a bar, flirt with some other guy and see my hubby try to take me home kind of thing. I have heard others say they have tried and that hey have failed miserably. Heck, even the show Modern Family made fun of it!

So, has anyone ever successfully pulled this off AND if so, what is your advice for others? less

My husband and I tried this and it was a miserable failure. The problem was that we were both just being a single version of ourselves. Neither of us are the type to get picked up or pick people up in bars.

So, my advice to you would be to really think about the role play and the characters that you are and make sure they are the sort of people that would be into that thing. less

If you are gonna do it, make sure you remember who you were before you got married. What made him pick you up to begin with. Then what would make other guys try to pick you. Flaunt your assets. Make other people stare. Then all your hubby has to do is come in and force away the competition and win the girl. less
