Sometimes its great to make a fantasy real. Otherwise how can we live in an erotic world? But sometimes, just sometimes, people need to understand that some fantasies can't come true! And somtimes, for your health and well being, they shouldn't. Am I wrong?
Some Fantasies should stay a fantasy.

Well, no, one shouldn't have sex with a wolf because they liked Twilight. I think everyone with any ounce of sanity knows that. I also agree that 50 Shades is a bad representation of BDSM. However, why should BDSM stay just a fantasy for someone if that book made them feel okay about fantasies they might have already had but thought were "too dirty" or "taboo" or something? Yes, people who have ONLY read 50 Shades should be doing some serious research before jumping on the BDSM bandwagon. If they look into the safety precautions and proceed in a consensual manner, why should these people not feel free to live out fantasies?
For what it's worth, I haven't read nor will I read the series. I do, however, live a BDSM style relationship. What some may consider "fantasy," I live in reality. And really, there's no harm in that.

I think it is great that someone would live out their fantasies, AFTER learning the true meaning and indepth information about it. I have nothing against that. Just makes me angry and somewhat nervous for people when I hear they are doing something with no knowledge or safety precautions just to make a fantasy a reality. It really scares me.

And I didn't mean to make it sound like I was against it at all, if that is how it seemed.
