After reading this again I realized I sound like a child. I've just got a lot going on and I think hearing about another one of my friends recent adventures, when I haven't had any myself or even a date in over two years, is getting to me more then it should.

It's very understandable, I know how frustrating it can be to have an expectation or possibility or even just want of a sexual fantasy to come true, only to have to face disappointment when it doesn't work out. That's not childish, that's just human.

Perhaps part of the issue could be the pool of people you are trying to pick from. Obviously people looking for casual sex like on fetlife or craigslist are going to be more ready and willing than most friends from real life or people on dating sites.

Have you guys tried going to pickup bars together (so it's obvious you're an item) and flirting with people there? It's way more awkward to break the ice with total strangers but the social repercussions are less and I know that may be more appealing to some people than, say looking online.

We looked into CL, there doesn't seem to e anyone in our city worth meeting, just a bunch of angry man hating lesbians, creepy couples, and stupid single guys >_<
The less said about Fetlife the better, for some reason Atlanta does not seem to be the place to pick up a date for us.

As for bars, neither of us drinks or like loud music so it wouldn't make much sense for us to go somewhere like that.

I've tried local poly groups and such, but it's all people old enough to be our parents. I just don't even know what to do anymore.

We're in the same boat. Something always happens to make it not happen.
