do you find poly break ups to be more complicated than regular break ups?
even if you are just one person's secondary, what if you are close with all or part of the rest of the group? do you find it causes a lot of chaos to break off from the relationship and still try to be friends with everyone?

For us it was a heart breaking mess that nearly destroyed our marriage, Sigel and I. We were so very young though and had no word for polyamory. We simply had no idea it could work. We still regret that we felt we had to break it off with our first shared partner.
We lost the whole group of friends over the experience and it still hurts when we see people in the group getting recognition for their art work or promotions at work and we can't congratulate them and celebrate with them. We are proud to have known them all, though. I don't regret the experience though Sigel has admitted that he does sometimes.
