Are drugs part of you and your partner's romantic life? Would you ever mix the effects of drugs with the ones you receive from having intercourse? I've personally never used drugs within my romantic life or sexual life, but I'm sure some love to pop a pill or get stoned beforehand. Drinking and sex seems to be popular but I've heard that leads to just falling asleep. Curious, would you and your partner ever try taking any kind of drugs before having sex?
Would you mix sex and drugs in the bedroom?

I'm not morally opposed to drugs, so I'd be open to trying it if I liked the effect. But I wouldn't want it to be something I had to do in order to be comfortable, although I can see how it could help if someone had a physical problem.
I haven't really tried any drugs, but I thought slightly-tipsy sex was pretty fun just because I felt nice and floaty and warm. Although alcohol makes me sleepy so it kind of cuts things short.
I think if I ever tried a "drug", it would really depend on how it effected me. I can see how sex during a hallucinogen (one of the few types I'm genuinely interested in) trip could be fun, but also how it could go horribly wrong and suck.

Like you Chirple, I'm not morally opposed. However, my current employer requires me to be drug free. So I don't indulge and cannot associate with users either.

My partner and I have definitely discussed this before, but it has not happened yet. I'm sure the opportunity will come along since he lives in a country where smoking weed is something that is socially acceptable.

You might get better responses if the poll was private. Some do not want to advertise their drug use.
I do not mind saying that I have tried a wide variety of drugs and had sex on all of them. It does make things better. But I only currently smoke buds.

I'd never mix the two (that does include alcohol to me). I'd prefer to have real reactions from my partner and there's a safety issue as well. I don't want to hurt them more than they wanted and have to visit the E.R.

I've mixed before, for sure. My boyfriend and I love it! It's typically only saved for special occasions though. We're not trying to be messed up all the time.

We don't require it and we can certainly enjoy sex without it, but we both smoke weed and sometimes we do right before we have sex, which intensifies my orgasms I get from my G-spot. It is very hard to make me orgasm that way, and it really helps. Plus, it prolongs it more for him! So it's a win-win!
I don't do any other drugs nor do I want/plan to though. So nothing hardcore.

Neither of us are into drugs, so nope!
12/03/2011
I plead the fifth on this!

Not into drugs. Never will be, and since my sex is on the kinky side drugs will go against SSC.

Only alcohol, but most people don't consider it a drug so . . . even then its not lets get drunk and go to the bedroom, its just the natural progression of things.
12/03/2011
He is completely opposed to any kind of drug. We're also trying to find new jobs, so we need to be able to pass drug tests.
12/03/2011
I don't do any drugs so it would be impossible for me as I have no interest in doing drugs.
12/03/2011
I don't do drugs, but I'd probably have sex buzzed on alcohol. I tend to get really lazy and sleepy though, not exactly ideal.
12/03/2011
I have never done drugs and I never will! I won't even smoke or chew tobacco products. The closest I get is a little buzzy or drunk on rare occasion. I won't have sex if I feel my or my partner's judgement is impaired.
12/03/2011
I have never tried any drugs ( unless you're talking alcohol, which I don't do anymore) and I don't think I would ever use them with sex.
12/03/2011
Sex with partner is not just physical touch, it is also a spiritual connection and feeling that required awareness. Drugs or alcohol prevents that. also, we like to get our intimate time as long as possible, to enjoy every thing we can do starting from choosing lingeries. Drinking will not let us do it correctly or as we wish.
12/03/2011
I'm open to try new things. I don't necessarily like the effects of alcohol or other drugs have on my body and mind, but I'm willing to try it. I just get sleepy so it probably wouldn't work out.
12/03/2011
why will i be using drugs when having sex i´m sure i will get asleep
12/03/2011
No drugs for me! I'm on too many as it is (medication)
12/03/2011
yea, no drugs or alcohol for me... I tend to have really bad anxiety attacks when I start feeling a buzz... so yea, I try to whatever I can to prevent those, LOL

Agreed. I was going to say, a private poll would have been nice. I have not really experimented with drugs at all. I have had alcohol hen had sex, and smoked and had sex.

I never did drugs, don't ever intend to. I like our sex life a lot, no need for drugs.

I've never done drugs, although I'm not morally opposed to weed.

No we wouldn't ever do it, but I have in the past. I've never taken or done anything just for sexual purposes, but I've been high and then had sex. I've done it drunk, but it wasn't something I'd prefer. I'd prefer being sober.
I wouldn't say any of the drugs I've done made sex better or anything like that. I might would feel more comfortable, less shy, but it's never made sex better or more fun for me. My partner and I have been drunk and had sex a lot, but that was when we were teens.
Other than my prescription pain meds, I don't get high and or drunk. I might take one sip of something just to try it, but I don't like being drunk anymore. Plus we usually have kids so I'd hate for them to be around that.
