If they're getting married in a church or organization that requires it, then absolutely. But unless it becomes a law for everyone, they certainly shouldn't be singled out.

No, because this is not required in all churches, and not all people have a marriage within a specific religion.

That's just a religious thing right? I went through it to get married in my church but I don't think it's a requirement for anyone otherwise. I should think for anyone wanting a church wedding then it would be whatever the religion required regardless of the couples gender.
