I'm in a long distance relationship and of course, actual sex always prevails over anything digital or just text.. but we have to make it work. Sometimes, I prefer sexting over phone sex. Nothing beats hearing her, but at the same time, sexting has that quality edge to it. I'm not sixteen anymore and trying to hide the screen from my parents, and I'm legally able to use my phone to take racey pictures or send naughty texts. Sometimes I just prefer it.

I definitely have the voice for phone sex and I enjoy using it on Hubby but I don't text at all so no sexting.

I prefer sexting because there's less pressure to "perform" - there's no fumbling for what to say. And I feel like I can be more imaginative when reading words instead of hearing them.

That's a good point!

I personally would prefer sexting though because when it comes to phone sex, I feel like an awkward nerd when I try it to sound dirty. It all just sounds too fake to me.

Um...I chose "can't choose one", but that is NOT because "I like a bit of both", but because BOTH are incredibly risky. Folks..your phone is a RADIO. Your wireless system on computers is a RADIO. It means OTHERS can pick up/see what you send. MOST encryption is a joke to a professional. Furthermore, you NEVER know where these words or images will show up. Usually it will be where YOU don't want it. Phone sex or Sexting is a risk we have told our daughter NOT to take. Now, her Fiance, who is a computer/internet security expert tells her the same exact thing, for the same exact reason.....so we are finally backed up and happy about it.
