Recently I have been really cold living in our apartment. My boyfriend however is always feeling hot. We been having to compromise. I wearing a lot more clothes in the apartment than usual, him wearing next to nothing. When I turn on the heat, I cannot turn it on to long, or else he start sweating non-stop until the heat is turned off. I was wondering if anyone else is having a similar problem?
Do you perceive room temperature differently from your partner

My guy is like a gosh darn friggin radiator! He's always been much warmer than me, but lately I've become particularly cool. Just recently I noticed that the trackpad on my macbook pro didn't seem to be working at smoothly as usual. After about a minute of being uber confused and afraid something was wrong with my computer I realized that my hands were absolutely frigid. So cold that my fingers were stiff. He thinks I'm ridiculous and calls me a weakling lol
I don't mind it though. I'd rather be too cold than too warm, so I usually accommodate his temperature preference when he stays with me. Plus, being cold isn't so bad when you get to sleep next to your own person snuggle-friendly furnace. I can be so cold that my teeth are chattering and he'll snuggle me for a minute or two and just like that I'll be toasty warm.

I always found it colder till pregnancy, now the situations are flipped.

I've always felt hotter than whomever I was with (guys were comfortable, I was sweating). Last night it was 70 degrees in the house and I was still sweating while I was making my photoshoot for Master ... although I guess it helps with the 'ravished' look I was going for.

I always feel cold, and my man produces an insane amount of heat! I usually need like 4 blankets, and he's running around in shorts.
12/10/2011
Absolutely! He's sitting there in a t-shirt, as comfortable as can be. Me? I'm wearing long sleeves, long pants, wool socks, fluffy gloves, and I'm under a blanket... And I'm still cold.

I always feel cold. Until I was pregnant, then I was bouncing around all over the place in how I felt (though, still generally cooler than everyone else). It drives him crazy that I feel cold, but I also hate long sleeves. I'll wear them if I must!

I'm usually colder than he is. I've got a long sleeved shirt and a hoodie on right now. He's wearing a t shirt.

i'm always hot, & my bf is always fine.

My guy is like a heater and I'm practically cold-blooded, I retain heat but I cant produce it. He saves me some off my gas bill at least....

I am always cold while my boyfriend runs around in shorts. I end up dragging blankets and a space heater around the house with me since he like to keep the house temp 63-65 degrees in the winter.
12/12/2011
I like the winter compared to most people
12/12/2011
With the exception of a few times lately I am usually the one who is cold in our house. She tends to like things in the 66-68 range and if cost weren't an issue I'd probably be more comfortable around 70-72. I like it a little warmer
12/12/2011
From what I can tell, I perceive it as colder than he does, but I have more cold tolerance than him. I like it warmer, but I can handle colder.
12/12/2011
It totally depends. She has a tendency to fluctuate more than I do.
12/12/2011
He is usually alot warmer than me, which works out because I can use him as my personal furance.
12/12/2011
I am always always always cold. Compared to my friends, my family, my ex-es.

always colder

I'm quite freezing the majority of the time (I have a mild circulatory disorder, so it's not all in my head, I swear ). This is often a problem when I'm in a relationship with sleepovers. The two relationships where I was living with my partner we maintained separate bedrooms due to our sleepy-time temperature needs.

Sometimes we do perceive the room temperature differently but it is more related to our health status when we do...as a unit of three even. Both of my partners are like blast furnaces normally which is why I don't like to sleep in the bed between them...it's too friggin hot! Usually though we are pretty well matched.

I'm constantly cold and my partner is always turning the heat off. Walk into my room it's nice and cozy. Walk into his and you'll freeze to death. I swear he's prepairing to be a father because whenever I try to turn the heat up in his room he's always all "don't touch the thermostat!"

my husband and i can either be cold at the same time, or he's hot and im cold. i've always been that way though.
06/17/2012
I tend to think the temperature is warmer, but part of that is the fact that I radiate heat.

i think it is colder than my partner
06/18/2012
Typically, he is hotter than I am so we try to keep it as cool as possible and I wear a hoodie or wrap up in a blanket. If we don't keep it cool, he sweats a lot too. Maybe it's a guy thing?
06/18/2012
for sure, we come to a middle-ground agreement though

my husband love when its cold and me not so much
