Like 2.2 years ish. Every other one has been less than 3 months though.
Longest relationship
11/05/2010
My current relationship is the longest i've been in. We love eachother very much and are very happy together. We've been married for 3 years, together for 6 years and have 2 children.

3 years, so far, and we're on and off. We're trying to communicate better, and I think overall, with a baby, we're doing pretty good!
11/06/2010
I've been with J for 5 years, and hopefully there are many more years with him.
11/06/2010
Haha I'm so not voting on this yet! 7 months so far, and it's my longest relationship, but I expect many more happy months/years to come

We've been together for a little over 9 years now-still going strong as ever. We make it work by being best friends, being 100% honest with each other, respecting each other as individuals and working together-I don't like to say compromising, because to me that makes me think of someone not getting what they want..and for us we try to see both sides so that we both get what we want

Longest relationship is current one. We have known each other for 43 years. Yes, I said FORTY-THREE! We have been married for 29 now. Furthermore, we are totally happy, satisfied and fulfilled with each other and our relationship and life that we have built together. What helps to make it work so well after these many years? Determination, respect for each other and ourselves, honesty, friendship with each other and something that many forget...a great sense of humor and the ability to laugh at yourself. Also being able to accept when you are wrong and having the courage to say you are genuinely sorry and apologize. When you are right and your partner is wrong, being gracious and humble when accepting their apology, goes a long way. Common interests, backgrounds and values help in the long run but I also know of couples who are vastly different from each other and still maintain a healthy and loving relationship. Randy (my husband) and I share a vast bond of interests, backgrounds, values, morals, goals, dreams and childhood memories since we have known each other since we were young children. And yes, we did experience many, many other people in our younger days, so we do known what else is out there. We both know how hard maintaining a good and healthy long-term relationship can be and wish all those that are earnestly trying the best.

I so agree.

My husband and I have been married for 14.5 years. We dated exclusively for three years before marriage. He's my best friend. He makes me laugh. Seeing him is always the highlight of my day. Sure, we have arguments and we have our downsides and some differing interests, but we are determined to work through them by never losing sight of the positive things which drew us together.

I've been with my man for almost 4 years (in March) and it feels like longer and shorter than that all at the same time. We've been through a LOT together, more than most people have endured in 10 years of a relationship. Our ability to communicate and offer each other support even in the really tough times has kept us deeply in love. We have so much in common and I've never known someone so fully. I look forward to many more years with him

It'll be 3 years in December, and still going strong. We're talking about getting married.
11/07/2010
The longest I've been in was about 3 1/2 years or so I think. My current relationship is about to hit 2 years.
11/07/2010
3 yrs and going to get married this summer
11/08/2010
5 years (and going strong) with my gf.
11/13/2010
I'm starting to wonder if I have commitment issues or something.

Just over 6 years with my wife and counting.

My current relationship; 6 years
11/14/2010
Three years with another guy but the one I am married to now, I hope for 50!
11/14/2010
Two and a half years (to be exact) but I feel it was the beginning of the end at about two years. After thoughtful retrospect, I think part of what kept us together for so long was the fear of being alone.
11/15/2010
3 months

I was with my husband for about three and a half years. That was my first relationship. I didn't really know what I was doing and neither did he. We split up about eight months ago. It was pretty painful. I thought we'd be together forever and all that. Bleh.
11/15/2010
At this point, almost 4 years with an ex of mine. My fiance and I will have been together just about 2 years when we get married in a few months (long story but it's been ongoing about a decade).

i wish i felt that way about my bf! i've been with him almost 10 years and i'm not even sure if things are going to work out, it sucks because if it doesn't it's definitely going to be a waste of time. we keep trying to make things work because we've been together so long and we're attached to each other...long story

Seven years in December. We've been married for four.
11/27/2010
So far 3 years with mine going on 4 next May. It's all been long distance though and it's very hard, but we try to make it work.
I think the longest I know of though would be my grandparents as they were married over 50 years.

I have been with my hunny for 3 years and to be with him this long has taken alot from both of us. Taking the good with the bad and the bad with the ugly. you have to learn one another and love each other through everything of one another

My longest relationship that I have been in is the one I am currently in, 4 years.
11/28/2010
My previous relationship was 2 years and 3 months long, which is the longest.
The relationship I am currently in is a couple months shy of a year. Here's to hoping it lasts a lifetime.
