I too prefer different sides depending on where we are sleeping. Our first two apartments in college, he slept on the left. In hotels, he sleeps on the left. In our regular house, he sleeps on the left. But in our house in Atlanta, I sleep on the left. Not sure why the change, he stayed there without me for a little bit and I think the right side is closer to an outlet, so he took that side.

I chose other. It doesn't matter if I'm on the left or the right side of the bed, I just HAVE to be on the side of the bed that isn't against the wall because I get up constantly.

Assuming an anatomical position (the sleeper's perspective), I prefer the right side of the bed.

Other. Left or right doesn't matter. All that matters is I want the side against the wall because I like to lay against it.

I prefer the "power side" some times its the left side, some times its the right side, but I like to sleep on the side that has the light, alarm clock and the extra plug for my cell phone.

I prefer to sleep on my left side most often, but I also prefer to be little spoon. I feel more secure with my partner sleeping against my back.

It depends on how the bed is positioned. If it's enclosed with a wall I'm gonna want to be closest to the wall. I like to feel cacooned in.

I voted right (as seen if I'm on my back). But it really depends on the bed.

I don't really have a side but she likes to be closest to the window. Not sure why but that's her thing so I let her have it.

Do you mean when you are looking at the bed, or face up in the bed???

Usually... I go for whatever side is closet to the window. In this apartment I am the opposite because the electrical plug is closer!

I like the side away from the wall, whichever it may be. I tend to get up at night and don't like to disturb him.

We've each had our own side for better than 20 years now. I doubt I could fall asleep if not on "my" side. I even sleep there when alone, in hotels, etc. Right side when looking from the foot of the bed.

We live separately. I prefer at both places to have the side closest to the door. No reason, just a quirk.

(when facing the head of the bed) I used to sleep on the left side of the bed.. due to how our room was set up.. and now, i sleep on the right side of the bed... we've gotten accustomed to how this i, really seems to depend on how the room is set up.

I chose left, because on my girlfriend's bed, I sleep on her left. However, I should've chosen other because when I am in my own bed I sleep on the other side.
