People think it is weird, or "dirty", or "unnatural". They are all ridiculous, but the last one is certainly the most absurd, since circumcision is a body modification! When someone is born with a penis, they do not come out of the womb circumcised, that happens later and alters how they naturally are.
Circumsized or not?

I agree. Master (who is uncircumcised) says that it's not that hard to keep clean, and suspects circumcision is for people who are too lazy to clean themselves properly. I also don't understand how the correlation of foreskin=disease came about - where are these sources? What era/group created this idea? What medical backing does this have? Did the Center for Disease Control do an actual study? Or is this an urban myth passed around by teenagers or backwards American southern towns?

My partner is uncircumcised, and he admitted to me that has been judged for it and rejected solely because of it on a number of occasions, which REALLY upsets me. As I've told him, anyone that has rejected you, refused to do things with you once they saw a part of your body, or has said something hurtful to you about it, you don't need in your life. That can be hard to take. Apparently, I am the only one who has not been like this to him in some way, and he has been in other relationships. It bothers me that this happens, it shouldn't. The only positive I can see from such a negative thing is that at least he and other uncircumcised people can weed out the bad from the good with that sort of thing, and be with the type of person they really deserve who wouldn't shame or reject them for their bodies.
I am totally confident in myself and happy with my body and I wish everyone would be. But still, if I took my top off, or I was really into someone and they saw my breasts or vagina and then just got cold, or said they would rather just cuddle, or shot me down in some way or another simply and blatantly because of a part of my body, I would feel hurt and messed up about that, no matter how I feel about my own body. less

Agreed. Not to start a ruckus, but I think it's weird that people, have their child circumcised at birth because "that's what they like". That's a permanent procedure, and I think it should left up to your child, not up to what you personally prefer in people.

Religion has a lot to do with that, and then those ideas just kind of stick in society even to people outside of said practicing religion(s).

I'm curious if the people who have seen most UNcirc'd are in the states. I know the pendulum is beginning to swing the other way. We chose not to circ our son so I'm always interested in the current stats for circumcision.
As for me, though, I've only been with circ'd.

Have never been with an uncut guy before but wouldn't turn someone down based on it either. Just have not found many people around here who aren't already circumcised.

Yeah, the 'unnatural' one is funny lol. Wasn't the original purpose of circumcision religious? Like, 'Here I am going to cut off part of my penis cause it will impress God and maybe cause me to masturbate less cause that's a sin'? Today I don't see any medical reason for it whatsoever. Aesthetic appeal perhaps? Aren't there reasons for keeping foreskin? Though it may not all be true, here is some food for thought on the benefits of remaining aardvark: link

All but one of the men I've been with have been circumcised. The one who wasn't, I really couldn't tell the difference anyway. I wasn't checking out his junk when he wasn't aroused.
03/25/2012
I have been with one man that was uncirc'ed.
03/26/2012
I've been with both. I prefer cut guys. They smell better.

My husband is circumcised. Never been with a man who wasn't.

My Husband is Circed, as were all my previous partners, and I have only ever seen them in porn flicks. Never even in person. I do think that, aesthetically, a cut penis looks better. Also, we chose to circ our son, both because of our religion, and also because I don't want him facing a stigma, or being ridiculed for it.
04/10/2012
I have only been with circumcised men, not because it is my preference but simply because that is what my boyfriends have had. Circumcision is much more prevalent in the United States than in other countries, so I think the bias women seem to have toward cut penises comes from only knowing cut penises. Two of my best friends have been with uncircumcised guys and said it was great; one actually much prefers uncut guys now.

I have never been with anyone uncut, although that wasn't a conscious decision - it just sort of happened. Personally, if we ever have a boy, he won't be circumcised. I think it's awful and will not pay someone to mutilate my child.

Circumcised looks better I have to admit to this, but I actually prefer uncircumcised.
