I tend to love smells of cologne/axe and sprays over someone's natural odor. I know that part of sex for some people is appreciating their lover's "natural" scent emitted, but I more so love my guy to smell yummy!

I love the smell of axe/colognes.

I absolutely HATE Axe and don't know of a woman who likes it. The ads are complete crap to get guys to spend a ton of money.
I like my guy to smell like himself, soap, or vanilla.

i love both

I completely hate cologne. I don't even like my boyfriend's deodorant so I made him coconut oil deodorant (and he loves it, thank god XD so he only vaguely smells like coconut and no unnatural chemicals!)

Clean with a fresh light scent from natural products. Not soapy, not drenched in cologne, but not BO, either.

I hate AXE. To me, even the smallest bit makes a guy absolutely reek. Though I am a super-smeller, so there's that, but ugh. I can tolerate a whiff of Old Spice, or soap, or something I've made myself, but no AXE ever.

lol, axe reminds me of seventh graders. NOT SEXY.

I kind of like certain Axe varieties but it seems like everyone who wears it really overuses it.

My guy wears Axe but knows too that I love his fresh shower smell so he goes light on it when we are about to hit the bedroom

I like nice colognes, but I totally agree that I absolutely HATE the smell of axe. Totally reminds me of a middle school boy, and it tends to make me sneeze. The fragrance isn't high quality at all and I think it reflects that in the scent and how it stays on the body.
I love love love the way many of the Jo Malone scents smell. They're wonderful and uniquely manly (not just your generic spicy type scent). And they aren't overpowering. They're the sort of scent that makes you just want to inhale more of it.
One of the burberry smells is really nice to me as well, and is a sort of tobacco-y tonka scent. Similarly Tom Ford has a scent called Tobacco Vanille thats lovely.
I think those scents are great because there's nothing about them that screams "Im wearing COLOGNE!!!!" or is too complicated or showy. The scents are understated, traditional, clean and simple, but fabulous enough that you know it didn't come out of a plastic spray bottle gotten at the grocery store. Sexy.

If someone smells like they BATHED in the cologne I can't stand it. I agree that it makes me think they have no idea what they are doing. But many different colognes, including AXE, can smell okay to me if they aren't heavy handed with it.

I am crazy for how good my husband smells. He wears great cologne, or even his sweaty smell.

I don't like the smell of Axe body spray at all. No matter how much men spray on themselves, it always smells way too strong.

I'll be a doofus and admit I like Axe.
Sure, if you pile it on or use it as a bathing substitute, it's not pretty - but I'm okay with a little bit.
Some colognes are nice, too.
I have a very not-sensitive nose, so I suppose it takes stronger smells to get to me. :s

Some men smell amazing without cologne, etc. and some absolutely need it. Most of the time, men (and women) can't do wrong with a spray of good perfume or cologne.

Either one works.

I hate strong smells so axe and old spice is not my cup of tea. They make me feel sick and give me a strong headache.

My brother uses Axe, so it's very NOT-sexy to me.
I usually end up with guys who have cologne allergies, so it's always their natural scent with touches of soap and deodorant. Not too bad, really, as I don't have to worry about licking his skin and getting a tongueful of nasty-tasting chemicals.

I prefer the musky natural scent of my boyfriend to cologne
12/14/2011
mix of both. I like the way he smells at the end of the day when he puts his cologne on in the morning. It's a lighter smell and blends in more with his natural scent

I love the smell of light colognes! Some can be way overbearing and some men think they need to use the whole bottle, a little is all you need boys!

I've got a soft spot for Axe, but I love the way my guy smells naturally

Both, but I like it when a guy puts on some colognes, then he does a little manual labor and his sweat mixed with it, smells so hot.

I like natural smells with a hint of cologne or body spray. My partner wore Bod Spray (I think it was called "totally ripped abs") back in high school, and it smelled wonderful with his natural scent.

I like the smell of Axe, and I like his natural smell. They both smell good to me!

I like the majority of scent to be natural, but I like a hint of cologne.
