We do it the same way (technically). We often have sex first, and get him off quickly, then the rest of the time is spent for me using dildos and vibrators. I never orgasm from straight up sex, although that doesn't mean I don't enjoy it.

At the risk of sounding cliche, that's kinda what she said. She really enjoyed the intercourse first with mild orgasms, then extreme orgasms with clitoral play.
