My husband and I recently bought a peek-a-boo hot pink strippers pole, we have yet to install it, but I wanted to know if you should keep your pole oiled for easier sliding on it? And if so, what kind of oil? I don't want to mess it up, but I do want to get as much fun out of it as possible.

From what I've read, you shouldn't use oil on it, and that you make sure to wash your hands before using it so there's no lotion, cream, or natural oils from your skin on your hands so the pole doesn't become dangerously slippery.

Fun!! Take lessons, I think it would be great exercise! My friend teaches a class, and she is the fittest person ever!

I'm in a small Bible Belt town (they're dry and against selling sex toys, even the drug store lube selection sucks!) I think I'll have to buy some instructional DVDs.

I'm jealous too. I've always heard it's great exercise.

Thanks guys. ^_^ Don't be jealous. It's a pain to put up and we haven't even got to play with it yet. =/
