I've never used candle wax before, and was wondering which I should get.. I don't want something that is too painful, just a warm feeling. I have no idea which one to get, so I am just going to post a few that EF carry. If there is a candle I didnt put in the poll, please let me know in the comments what you would suggest. Thanks!

Are there any candles I should stay away from (being completely new to the candle wax stuff)... Or any tips?

Anything by lelo!

The Jimmyjane, Babeland, Lava Lotion and Bwarm by Bswish are all fantastic options as well. Though out of the ones above, I personally liked the Suntouched best. They tasted better (not that you really want to eat them), smelled sweeter and had the little spoon for applying - easier to use and less messy that way. Plus they're cheaper.

I've never used any of these listed because of the expensive prices, but I haven't ever experienced burns or even discomfort using any candles. I have heard unbelievably good things about the lelo. ONO has a new candle deal out you should check it out too if you're really interested in those above. I'd say you'd like it, but it's probably very expensive too.

I tend to avoid all the chemical additives so organic would be a good way to go. As for temperature the farther away you let it fall the cooler it will be.

A Jimmyjane massage candle. Those are a beautiful texture and scent. Also, it depends on if you're wanting to do a bit of wax play or have a hot massage. The massage candles give more of a hot massage than a wax play experience.

Strawberries and Champagne sound great.

Anything made from petroleum based materials. They burn much hotter than beeswax or soy candles.

If you don't need a "peelable" wax candle, I suggest the JimmyJane Afterglow massage candles. They don't get extremely hot, they stay somewhat soft after application, so you can massage, but they do give a nice hot feeling when applied directly from the container. ALWAYS blow out the flame before using candle wax for play. A risk of severe burns and fire is always possible. The JimmyJane candles stay liquid for longer than most others, have better scents and feel better, IMO.
If you don't want those I'd go with a pure soy wax candle, as some of these give a nice hardening of the wax that some people are after with wax play.
My review on the JimmyJane Candle Sampler gives a few tips on beginning wax play. You may want to read it to get some ideas.
Good luck and stay safe. Always keep a small container of water nearby in case of burns and go slowly.

I've never used any that you have available to choose from. But I have used the Afterglow and the Bwarm. I really like both of those. They aren't tacky or sticky and they go a long way. Ive heard pretty awesome things though about the shunga candles.

I picked the Lelo candle but any massage candle I'd give a try. Personally for wax play without a massaging feature afterward I stick to pure soy candles.

Lelo looks like a good option.

I saw this and thought Eden had gotten more 'painful' wax play candles, and was disappointed.
I've got a Shunga massage candle that's nice, though. It's just a little warm and smells delicious.

I'm interested in the Lelo candle.

Honestly, I may just have skin, but I've never had difficulty with candle wax in general. It doesn't feel that hot to me.
I suggested the edible one. Yum.
