My parents anniversary is coming and I'd love to get them a massage candle. However, they are very... Conservative... About their sex life. So I don't want to get them something that is inappropriate in their minds. Do you think a massage candle is inappropriate? To me it is just as normal as fancy massage oil or lotion, but my husband thinks it isn't a great idea,
Is a massage candle an inappropriate gift?

No its not inapprpriate, but it might not be something that they want. I wouldnt get one for my parents. This year I got my dad stuff for his home office, and kitchen stuff for my mom. She loves the dish towels from William Sonoma. I guess it would depend on if you need to do your shopping with points or you have money to spend. The cake products make good gifts.

I don't think there's anything wrong with that! It's not like it has to be used in an erotic way. You can massage feet and hands with a massage candle too. I think it's actually a great little gift!

It depends on them really. I could see if they are really conservative to the point where words or even the thought don't cross their mind about discussing sex. However, if they seem to discuss it with each other...than it could be a great gift. If it doesn't get used for it's actual purpose...it's still a candle.

hard to say, but it's not something I would give to my own parents.
