How can I get massage oil out of lingerie, sheets, etc.?

Contributor: justme23 justme23
I was packing to visit my bf and as a surprise I bought massage oil ( link ) and a new piece of lingerie ( link - the pink). I went to put something else in my bag and found that a few drop of oil had dripped on the lingerie and stained it. How do I get it out of my lingerie, and in the future, possibly sheets??

I would try dawn dish soap and cold water....Apply it from the back of the stain ( or turn the material over and put the solution on it) and this should take care of it. Dawn dish soap is the best for most things like this. Hope it works for you

The orange pumice goop sold at auto parts stores that is formulated to get oil stains out. It actually works - I got cooking oil on a white blouse and skirt I was wearing. Dampened the spots with water, dabbed the goop on, rubbed the material together until the stains were gone, rinsed the goop out, then laundered as usual. Couldn't tell it was ever there and the pumice didn't kill the material.

I can definitely recommend it for sheets, though I'm not sure how lingerie could stand up to it. The Dawn soap is likely more gentle on the material.

Seconded. I'm a rather clumsy cook and massager, and it's not unusual for me get oil on my clothes. Dawn works great.

this is might be a hard one. try oxy-clean. and very very hot water.
this might do it. other companies sell sheets that will not stain.
