To me tats don't make a woman sexier or cooler. Like anything else, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I've come to the conclusion that it's somewhat generational. In my day sailors got tattoos. Then tattoos became a way to 'prove you were different' - 'more adventurous'. Now they are so common they prove the opposite - that your just like all the rest - its mainstream.
I see young people rejecting tattoos to be different - a 180 change from 10-15 years ago. Every generation seems to want to separate themselves from those before - just seems natural to swim against the tide.

Being younger, the only reasons I ever hear anyone say they do not want to get a tattoo is:
A. To be "professional". (Then they get them hidden anyway.)
B. Because their parents would be mad if they found out. (Half the time they get them hidden too.)
and C. Because tattoos and their beliefs dont correlate.
I think now more than ever, tattoos are a huge part of our modern culture.
