There are a couple of other really good threads on interracial dating. If you search for them (in the search bar) you should be able to find them.

I personally dont see anything wrong with it considering that God made every single one of us equal but I never have.

I'm white and my husband is black, born and raised in Africa. I've always liked men of different races/cultures. Knew I was going to marry outside my race, and probably a foreigner. I've learned so much about foreign cultures just by dating and having friends from all over the world. I think it makes life more interesting that way. And maybe we'd have less hatred between the races if we had more interracial marriage and thus interracial children.

I have before, would again. I'm caucasian and my first crush was african american. I still remember coming home from kindergarten bubbling about how amazing he was, and my grandmother telling me that I couldn't talk to him any more because "his people" and "my people" were at war.

I cried for days.

Not really relevant to my adult experiences, which have involved dating people of other races, but it was something that always stuck with me.

That's so sad!

I hope we all mix together soon enough, to the point where racism just get too confusing and just drop it as a race of humans.

idk if this really counts, but i dated a guy who was 1/2 Asian 1/2 white for about 5 months once. i wouldn't have known he was 1/2 white if he hadn't have told me. of course, though, this didn't make a difference to me.

I do not think it matters. You like who you like. Skin color is just on the outside. I care more for what is inside then the color of their skin.

The only "race" I know of is the Human race. I don't classify any one outside my "race"

Well, from a biology standpoint, since humans sexually reproduce we would be drawn to people with a different set of immunities to us, so as to better the chances of healthy offspring. Diversity would be a natural calling. Therefore, it's no surprise that many people are fascinated with the concept of "dating outside their race". I say if you like a person, go for it, regardless of social constructs. I date all races.

I'm white and I've dated Hispanic, black, Indian, and Haitian. I love what I love, and I don't care what color it comes packaged in.

Unless we are talking Indian girls, in which case I have a serious weakness...gods they are gorgeous!

I'm white and I've dated mostly white and hispanic. I spent a decent amount of time with a half-Cherokee girl who really had so many Cherokee features (not your stereotypical ones, the ones you expect when you've been around anyone with Cherokee blood!) but for the most part, I haven't dated any other races. Not that I wouldn't have if I met the right person.

I don't tend to find myself very attracted to African Americans, despite the fact that my recent girlfriend is a lighter skinned black gal who is one of the most gorgeous women I've met. There are a few who I could see myself with, but there just aren't those yes-I'm-shallow features there that I am attracted to for the most part.

I date outside my race, can I have a cookie now? Seriously, though, I kinda have to, considering I'm a mix myself, there pretty much is no "my race" for me. Everyone I date is going to be "outside my race."
