Do you let guys buy you drinks at a bar?

Whenever I go out, I'm always wary of random strangers buying me a drink. What do you all think?

I don't mind. I'm cheap and it's always nice whenever someone wants to buy me something.

I don't get paranoid about it; I feel like our culture has become obsessed with this "Stranger Danger" mindset. I don't like to assume that every person that I meet is a serial killer, because I don't like strangers to assume that of me. If anything, the stats show we would be more likely to be attacked by someone we know and trust, rather than Joe Schmoe off the street.

Oh, heck yeah! My husband is always right beside me, so let them buy me a drink. Oh, my hubby is 6' 4", 230 ponds of solid muscle.

I agree. As long as I see the drink being made, I'll accept it. I usually don't go to bars alone, anyway, so someone is there to watch my back!

No one's ever offered. I don't think they ever got drunk enough to think I was attractive.

Haha, I think the only guys who have bought me drinks at a bar have all been gay and the drink was for my birthday or my bachelorette party. Granted, I don't spend a lot of time at bars and when I do, it's usually the gay bar.

It depends. I'm kinda paranoid about people slipping things into my drink, so I will only accept a drink if I see it being made in front of me. Also, I'll talk to the guy a little and thank him.

I'm not really someone who goes to bars (too crowded and noisy, plus I don't drink often), but if I did I wouldn't mind because hey, free drink!

I'd just keep an eye on it while it was being poured and given to me, and not let the chap who's paying get his hands near it. It's also wise to be in the company of friends, just in case.

Yeah, the bartender have to give the drink directly to me. If not I'm not accepting the drink
