I never gave it much thought, but toys now can add up to a LOT of money. Anyone had issues of "ownership" on adult toys when splitting up?

How about bringing those toys out with a NEW lover? Does it bring back OLD memories or does the NEW lover go "hey...where have THOSE been"???

What ARE the issues with toys and how do you deal with them, in a long term relationship break up???

I'm almost 100% sure that my boyfriend wouldn't fight me for ownership of any sex toys. Any male oriented toys, like prostate ones or masturbators, I would let him take to do what he desired with it. All the other toys are already considered "mine" despite spendings.

I would have no qualms using my toys after a relationship. If there are one or two that I have an emotional attachment to, I will simply put them away until I'm over it. No use getting rid of a great toy.

My new lover would have to deal with my toy collection. I would ease him into it. But it's not like I have a photo album of my ex in the same box or anything.

So yeah, all female use/unisex toys would be mine, any male ones would be his regardless of spending.

My partner doesn't have any real ties to the toys at all, so by default they would all end up being mine.

When my ex and I broke up the time before the last one, she took all the "girl only" toys and any toy she brought in. Some we tossed.

i paid for all of them and picked them all out... we just broke up, and yes i'm getting them all back. i dont want him using them with another girl... not when i paid for them.


it won't bother me too much to use them with others in the future.
