I love these books. I could read them over and over. I don't just like the eroticism of the books. I love the story of Ana bringing Christian out of his shell. It's awesome how a guy with such a dark past can love like this. I wouldn't mind the kinky sex life. Tease me
Did you like Fifty Shades?

My grudges against the mere fact that this book series exists aside, if you want to read a form of literature that actually accurately describes a BDSM relationship, I would recommend either "shiniez" at deviantart.com or the manga "Nana to Kaoru".

Read all 3. Wasn't impressed.
I think that she could have expanded her vocabulary throughout the books, and the sex became so repetitive. The same scenes over and over.

I don't know... It's awesome that you appreciate the non-erotic parts of the story, but the style the book is written in is pretty awful... I had every other female in my life breathing down my back to read these books at one point until finally I caved and gave it a shot... I'm sorry I did.

There are a million books out there that are similar but just so much better written... For the eroticism, check out Tiffany Reisz... or anyone else really lol I get my awesome, non-erotic plots from non-erotic novels though, because honestly, I'm just in it for the sex... maybe that's why I can't find the appeal in them. Who knows.

I read all 3 and it was a slog. They are not well written at all.
Yeah Ana brought Christian out of his shell but the dude stalked her.
The BDSM stuff seemed... not real and actually put me off.
So in conclusion I thought they kinda sucked.

I haven't read the books but I did see the 2 movies. I guess the movies were ok. They weren't the best or the worst movies I have ever seen so...

The one thing I can say about the movies is that the soundtracks are pretty good.

I didn't read the books because from what I was told her lack of writing skills would of irritated me. I watched the movies and did not care for the way BDSM was portrayed. Some scenes were hot, others were just disturbing.
